i. CHRIST'S MIRACLES.
Moses and the prophets never pretended to work miracles by themselves, on their own power or authority; and because Moses and Aaron once did, they were deprived of the sight of Canaan. But Christ used to do them as by his own power and authority, most plainly and evidently. He used to command the devils, and the wind and seas, and was obeyed. He professed this power.
